Prototype 065 - Droid Prime: Etapp Kyle, Setaoc Mass, Motionen

On November 10 DROID BEHAVIOR Ascetic Limited and Proto LosAngeles unite two of techno’s most exciting names of recent years. 

A name you may or may not be familiar with, Etapp Kyle; a younger DJ in the scene, Kyle’s music catapults him into veteran status and proves him as an expert selector on the dancefloor. You can expect to be taken on a euphoric journey that seamlessly transcends the lines between darker and more dynamic sounds with warmer melodies. His refreshingly unique take on techno has caught the eyes of various heavyweights, most notably Ben Klock, who has represented him under his label Klockworks, as well as releasing on Berghain’s in house imprint, Ostgut Ton. Prolific releases from this artist in just a few short years have been accompanied by impressive performances at notorious festivals and clubs around the world, including a residency at Berghain. 

Next up, we’re excited to welcome Manchester born, Setaoc Mass to Lot 613 for his LA debut. An intriguing artist, he has released hard-driven techno and electro through Len Faki’s Figure label including a delectable collaborative EP with Matrixxman - as well as consistently delivering noteworthy music through his own flagship label, SK_eleven. Los Angeles local pacemakers Motionen will be in charge of opening duties, so arrive early.
